Cyber police force: Teknabunnies
Episode one: Project TBX, written by Tara Ikeda and Ralph Bromley

The universe is a very big place, full of wonder and life. Far away from Earth is the planet Rabbitopia, and on this planet something incredible is about to take place…
The Rabbitdelphia police force was on high alert, reports of terrorism spread like wildfire.
All over the police force rushed to their places as bombs went off all over the place, the Red Stars were at it again.
The Red Stars were a gang of terrorists that wreaked havoc thought the city for the last year or so, it seemed that the Red Stars had a devious plan in mind for the people of the city as they cut a swath of terror throughout the city
However, two police officers were not worried about the terrorists. Out of all the police officers, they kept composed and calm, well at least one of them…
“Get me my gun, I want my gun!” said Sunny, her long magenta ears were perked to her sides as her hot temper flared.
“Your going to get it Sun, just relax!” said Ralph keeping his cool as he put on his combat armor.
“But I want to end this before they kill someone, Ralph the Red Stars are maniacs!”
“Yes, but you have to calm down for once! Life isn’t always about battle!”
The female Magenta Rabbit perked her ears down a bit “but you know that I am a soldier, I want to have great honor cast onto me.”
“Yes, but you are so hot headed sometimes”
“I guess you’re right… well shall we get to work?”
“Yes, lets”
The two rabbit police officers went to their car and sped off into the streets.
Ralph Bunny and Sunny Rabbiera were the best of friends and partners in the police force; both of them had known each other since childhood and joined the police force a year before the terror attacks.
Ralph was the quiet and smart one; he always had a sense of calm around him even in the heat of a street war.
Sunny on the other hand was very headstrong. Where Ralph preferred to keep the peace Sunny always got in the first shot.
Still this relatively odd couple got off greatly and was one of the most respected teams in the Rabbitdelphia police force.
“So where do you think they are?” asked Sunny
“In quadrant ten, that’s where most of the attacks are reported from, I think they have a home base close by.”
“Isn’t that the Ognicorp district?”
“Yes it is Ognicorp owns a lot of buildings in that area.”
“So we can assume that the Reds don’t like Ogni then?”
“Indeed, since last year the Reds have had a grudge against Ogni, but I think it’s because Ogni does do some crazy stuff.”
“Yeh I know, last year they had that government spy check them out but no ones heard from the spy since,” said Sunny with worry
“Well I don’t favor conspiracy theories myself but I know that Ogni does some very unusual things.”
“Yes, I even heard they have some mafia muscle in their ranks.” Said Sunny with frustration under her breath
”I would not be surprised if that was true.” Said Ralph, but the two shut up when they reached the Ogni district.

“Commander, I have set more bombs in the east sector,” said one
“Excellent” came a very deep Russian voice “those bombs will mislead any pursuit by the police force.”
“Indeed, and even if the cops catch on there wont be enough of them for a fight. We will rid this city of Ognicorp at last and take over!”
“Don’t get arrogant Leon; remember that rule number four in the Red Star code is to never underestimate your foe.”
“I will take it in mind Commander Yeltsik.”
“Good.” Said the shadowy figure before Leon “Don’t disappoint me” and the figure on the screen disappeared.

“Alright now where do you think they are?” said Ralph
“I dunno these terrorists can be anywhere.” Said Sunny loading her ammo into her guns
“Well we can assume it’s in this general area since this is where our geographic profiling said they may be.”
“But there are a lot of good hiding places, like all the old eastern electronics plants.”
“Well we can assume that they are in places where they can access the Ogni buildings with ease, but where…” before Ralph could figure out a good tactic, they heard an explosion come from somewhere in the city.
“It’s them, they are attacking again, we have to go Ralph!” said Sunny
“No wait!” yelled Ralph “listen to the report!”
The report came in on the com “all officers terror alert! A building is under attack in the west district! All units report!”
“Well you heard him! Let’s get going!” said Sunny
“No, it’s a decoy!” yelled Ralph, he ran over to the police car and took out the electronic map. He pointed at the map and said, “This sector has no Ogni buildings in it! If this is a Red Star attack they would attack something more interesting.”
“But you heard the com Ralph!”
“No, look at the map! It’s so clear this is a decoy tactic!”
He pointed at a red flash indicating the building under attack “You know what place that is right?”
“I do, that is the old miller building, but that place has been condemned for years!”
“Indeed it is, these red stars are very smart; they probably set off a false attack to get us running, their main attack will be here in our general area!”
“You got that right.” Said someone from behind, the duo turned around to see a band of Red stars behind them.
“You must be real smart to figure out our plan,” said the leader
“Well we try,” said Ralph
“Heh, well we will make sure that you won’t get away from here with that knowledge!” as the red stars pulled out their guns
“Get into the car!” shouted Sunny as the reds fired at them
She gave some covering fire as the police car sped off into the streets.
“This is car 213; we are being chased by the red stars in quadrant ten! We need backup now!”
“On the way car 213” said the dispatch
The red stars followed closely in an armored car as they came into a high-speed chase unlike any other.
The police car had speed but it seemed the reds had modified their vehicle for this sort of thing.
“We can’t seem to loose them!” said Ralph as he fumbled with the wheel of the police car “and backup is most likely a mile away!” said Sunny
The red stars fired as Sunny as came to the back window to try and to counter the enemies fire
“Darn it they are good,” said Sunny angrily as it seemed that none of her shots got though the Red stars armored car.
“They must have really thought ahead I can’t make a dent in that thing!” said Sunny bitterly
“Hang on Sun!” said Ralph as they turned over on a sharp turn.
The Red stars armored car followed suit as the chase went on.
A blast to the back tire sent the police car into a spin… Ralph tried to get the car in control but it was too late, the police car fell off a large gap in the road and crashed onto the ground below…
“We got em!” yelled Leon
“Good, now continue with the operation,” said Yeltsik
“yes sir!” and the terrorist drove off to wreak havoc on the city ahead as Ralph and Sunny's police car set ablaze and the backup came too late to help them.

Episode 2, rise of the Teknabunnies. By Tara Ikeda and Ralph Bromley

Ralph woke up inside a room; the light almost blinded his eyes.
“Where am I?” he asked
“In Rabbitdelphia central hospital, you’re alive but you won’t like what you are going to face.” Said an elderly looking rabbit
“What do you mean, and how come I can’t feel anything?”
The elderly rabbit looked sadly at him and said, “You are paralyzed from the neck down.”
“No, no way, it cannot be!” screamed Ralph “What the heck do I do now? How will I survive, I don’t know how I can ever live with myself now that I am like this!” he looked at the elderly rabbit as a tear ran down his eye and asked, “How is my partner, how is Sunny?”
“She suffered about the same amount of injuries, she can use her arms a bit but she’s in bad shape... “
More depression came to Ralph as he heard those words
“This isn’t happing; tell me this is a dream!”
“It’s no dream, I am sorry my son”
“Then help me, help me get through this terrible nightmare!”
“That’s why I am here my son; I am a doctor… but I am not a doctor that practices here.”
“Then who are you?”
“My name is doctor Cybunno, I am here to help.”
“What can you do though? I cannot walk or anything!”
“Well that is where you are wrong; I have something that you should consider.”
“What is it a new kind of wheelchair? I am afraid that won’t do a lot my friend,” said Ralph
“No it’s not a wheelchair, its something quite remarkable, I call it the Cybernizer, it’s a device recently approved by the government but only by the patients consent.”
“What does it do?”
“It is a device that will modify your body with advanced cybernetics, it’s painless and harmless. It can give you another chance at life.”
“But there has to be a price, this thing of yours has to have some flaw in it.”
“Yes, well like most devices it is misused by others, Ognicorp for one.”
“What do you mean?” asked Ralph
“Well it isn’t known but Ognicorp has been creating an army of cyborg soldiers in the shadows, they are just as devious as those red stars.”
“But how do you know that?” asked Ralph
“Because I helped them do it, Ognicorp stole my technology and now they are developing new ways to use it… it’s a very sad thing, I remember what they did to that government official last year…”
“You mean it’s not a rumor?”
“Indeed, but right now we have bigger matters to attend to, we need to rid the city of the Red Stars first.”
“But how, you can’t just make us into cyborg soldiers like Ognicorp and force us to fight.” said Ralph
“No, that is not my way. I want to help people; I want to put a stop to Ognicorp and to the red stars. But I must ask your permission, I don’t want to do anything against your will.”
“Hmm, well I guess I can give it a shot, it can’t be worse then this.”
“Very well, let’s just take you out of here and take you to my lab.”
“What about Sunny, she is my partner you know” Ralph asked
“She already said yes, she didn’t care what would happen as long as she could fight again.”
“That sounds like my Sunny.” Said Ralph with a laugh in his voice
Cybunno put Ralph and Sunny in his special car and drove off
“How are you feeling Sun?” asked Ralph
“I could be better… hey do you think we can trust this guy?”
“I don’t know, I mean he came in and told me about his cybernizer thing but I don’t know if it’s true.”
“I am willing to risk it though,” said Sunny “I don’t want to live like this.”
“Neither do I, I just hope this guy isn’t full of it.”
The car moved off to the lab as Ralph pondered the idea of becoming a cyborg in his head.
Images danced around in Ralph and Sunny’s heads, as they got closer to the lab.
Both of them thought hard on the matter, they knew that there was a possibility that this Doctor Cybunno was just some whacko, but then again they sensed that he was pure… and for some reason they felt deep in their hearts that Cybunno was going to be their savior.
An hour later the two rabbits sat in the cybernizer as Doctor Cybunno made his final check up.
“Ready?” he said with a calm voice
“Ready as we will ever be I guess.” Said Ralph
The cybernizer lit up; as new life pumped, itself into the rabbits inside, the cybernizer was indeed a miracle as it rapped their bodies in wires and metal.
Ralph felt the feeling in his body come back as the cybernetics healed his nerves,
It was the most amazing feeling he ever had as the machine gave him a new chance at life... a new chance to beat the red stars.
He and Sunny felt comforted by the machine, and somehow its energy felt pure and good.
As the process finished the two rabbits inside awoke feeling a rush of newfound energy…
“Ooh I feel wonderful!” said Sunny as she flexed her new cybernetics
“It’s like I have a new energy unlike any other I never felt before!”
“And you should.” Said Doctor Cybunno “your bodies are optimized with a new type of cybernetics; it’s a process unlike any other. Your bodies are now ten times stronger then any other rabbits and you have your own special abilities.”
“So we have our own separate abilities then.” Said Ralph “well then what are they?”
“Well you are equipped with a computer database, plus you have tactical data on your enemies.”
“And me?” asked sunny.
“You have all the weapons, since you were in the military.”
“Cool, I get the ammo!” said Sunny with glee
“Yes indeed Sunny.” He laughed, “Now note that your bodies have powers hidden inside of them but basically it’s up to you to seek them out. You see I believe in the power within your hearts, it’s up to you to discover your powers on your own.”
“But what kind of weapons do we have?” asked Ralph
“Well your main weapons are those devices on your arms, the omega beam cannons.”
The two looked at the devices on their arms and saw the golden devices mounted on them.
“Omega beams?” asked Ralph
“Yes, it’s a very powerful tool. It can stun shock or even kill if needed. However, you have other weapons you can equip. you have grenades, bombs and laser pistols. You also have a smoke bomb launcher for emergencies and optional shield generators for those dangerous missions.”
“So we got it all huh?” said Sunny
“Yes, you have the chance to save this planet from the scum who hurt the innocent and to save yourselves from a life of misery.”
“Yes I understand.” Said Ralph “now lets see if we can pay our friends the red stars a visit.”
“Yes lets.” Said sunny perking her ears up, ready for action

At the base of the red stars the gang was ready for another terror attack, little did they know of what they were about to encounter.
Ralph and Sunny knew where they were, with Ralph's maps of the city and Sunny's great tactical mind they realized that the cybernizer didn't just give them new lives and powers but a new sense of where the action was.
They pinpointed the gang with ease, in fact they were not far from where the two heroes battled with them the first time.
A blast of raw energy came at them, the blast took out their attack car and a voice said “alright you red stars, its payback time!”
Two rabbits appeared before them in suits of armor, the reds fired at them but their bullets just did not skim them. The two rabbits leaped up and attacked from above, left and right they took out the red stars as Leon tried to get away, but as he tried to escape, two metallic fists came at him knocking him out.
Later the police arrived to take the terrorists in, as they rounded the terrorists up the cyborg rabbits watched and laughed.
“Well this is the start of something great.” Said Ralph
“Yes it is, but what do you think we should call ourselves?” asked Sunny
“How does the name Teknabunnies sound?”
“Sounds good to me,” said Sunny as the two “Teknabunnies” left the area.

Somewhere a shadow stood, he looked about as he saw his gang rounded up.
He knew this could not be a police hit so he assumed it was something else.
“It seems like I have new friends on the rise, well I would love to greet them when they come…” the figure cackled as he disappeared into the shadows.
