Yeah so? I'm taking about it being in English, Robotnik is hardcore in SatAM/Sonic Underground but Eggman tryed to stop one of his robots from killing Sonic in Sonic X. In Sonic the Movie he is all nice to that girl. And Robotnik and Eggman look different. (Apart from in the games.)

Those shows were made by DiC... official Sonic stuff is made by SEGA. |

Yeah, obviously if they were using Sega's characters... but Sega had nothing to do with the scripts or anything.

Believe it or not, I'm a SatAM/SU fan myself. But I'm just trying to get my point across that the SatAM/SU/whatever Robotnik isn't that official one... I understand where you're comin' from. The official is Sonic X because it came from Japan because that's where Sonic's creator is from. It's official in that sense, but defly not the best show created. I love Sonic X myself, but I know quality (if you doubt me, I'll gladly post my SatAM essay I did for my AP Lit class to prove my point). Anyway, my analysis: Plot: 5/10; I like how the show keeps the paper-thin plot from the genesis games. Brings back some old memories of my not being able to make it past part 3 of the robotropolis level on StH:2. However, as per usual, with games of no plot, it's better to play, not to watch for great plot twists. However, I don't like how Tails, Amy, Chris (and his random friend and ep) goes to find a chaos emerald, and don't come back. Thus, que the plot hole with Cream and Cheese watching the news, they get word of the Chaos emerald, Cheese fails off the coach, everyone goes "Awwwwwww!", and they go tell Sonic "Um, Sonic? There's been an emerald found, and Tails has been gone to get it but hasn't come back yet, so I think you should go find them now." This show has more clockwork than Sailor Moon did. WHERE can we find Sonic? On Chris' roof, lounging. Characters: 7/10; I love Eggman's Am. va; it's really good. And Lisa Ortiz does a great job with Amy and somehow gives her more depth. Besides, I like Amy in Sonic X, she has a purpose, and serves hers well (aka comic relief spot). However, Chris and his random friends aren't that great. The sweetest characters in this show are the secondary ones (minus Rouge, Eggman, and sometimes Amy, who are outside the flippin' box half the time) like that hilarious substitute teacher/robot, the FBI teacher guy, and the police. Sonic has somehow been zapped of his old school 'tude, and that's how he's become that popular, except now, he's all eye-candy to the new generations. I'll always love Sonic and his games, but we need to remember how he was founded. Eye candy: 5/10; nothing special, but there is the occasional sweet move that Eggman lets happen (like when Chris grabs his moustache tryin' to get the emerald! XD!). Sonic does his sweet stuff, but it's not the same without the 'tude man! Theme: 3/10; "He's the fastest--" Nope. How can Sonic be the fastest thing alive when he's sleepin on Chris' roof all the time?? The "official" Sonic we started out with has gone out the window and now lives a life on Chris' roof somehow. Overall: 7/10; Sonic X has some good points, like it's humor (have you seen the baseball ep? or the Rouge/Knuckle fights that happen for no apparent reason?), and sometimes...well, uh, the humor for sure. I watch it because it's Sonic, and I'm glad they have a Sonic show on (Besides, it's not SU, so I'm okay with it. [and sorry in advance to all the SU fans on this board]). |

Um... if you're talking about Chris, he's 12 years old, and he's NOT stupid. And how the heck is it 'too happy and sappy'? And as for Snively... he's NOTHING to do with SegaSonic, so obviously he wouldn't be there. Eggman = Robotnik... And 4kids only did the dub, but not the original... you should be happy we even got a dub in the first place. EGGMAN IS NOT ROBOTNIK YOU CHALISTIC SWINE! *ahem* take a good look at the two.Take a GOOD look at their anatomy.You tell me if they are the same person and no archie references!   ok Chris is 12 years old.He still sounds like ash from pokemon.Cmon people we gotta start liking decent anime people like Vash the Stampede.Also,I'd be much happier with fansubs because we get to see it raw. |

Shadow, everyone KNOWS Eggman is Robotnik. They just changed his looks alot. In Japan they call him Eggman and thats why they call him that in Sonic X and in the games, cause both was made in Japan! ;D All the amarican versions call him Robotnik and in Archie, Eggman is the Robotik version of Robotnik so he is still Robotnik.

Its just complicated. if robotnik has been magically changed into Eggman how do you explain the entire SATAM cast and universe he was anchored to just vanish.That wouldnt make sense because you just said that X and SATAM are completely different so you just contradicted yourself |
